Series includes two numerical indexes to county lands and two numerical indexes to property lots. The volumes document land ownership in Miami County, and lot ownership in the following cities and townships: Osawatomie, Fontana, Ellensville, St. Louis, Ten Mile, Louisburg, Lyons, Columbia, New Lancaster, and Stanton. Some of these cities are outside of Miami County. The indexes regarding county lands contain entries listing the date, grantor, grantee, instrument (deed type), book and page number, remarks, and description. The entries are organized by township and range numbers. One volume contains townships 15-18 and ranges 21-23; the second volume contains townships 18-19 and ranges 24-25. These are dated 1858-1882.
The indexes to property lots are organized by block and lot number. The entries list the date, grantor, grantee, instrument (deed), book and page number, remarks, and property description. One volume is dated 1858-1939; the second volume is dated 1858-1890.
