Scope and content: Microfilmed plat maps of Kansas from original surveys, showing significant geographical landmarks such as rivers and other waterways, as well as man-made features such as roads and trails, boundaries of Native American reservations, and other landmarks. The maps are for townships 1-35 and include all ranges east of the 6th Principal Meridian. Can include plats from twentieth-century resurveying information, as well as various types of copies (e.g. photostats, film, etc.) of plats.
