Scope and content: Series includes copies of bonds in which Osawatomie Township is indebted to the St. Louis, Kansas, and Arizona Railway. The bonds were issued pursuant the Board of County Commissioners and a state act to "enable counties, townships, and cities to aid in the construction of railroads, and to repeal section 8 of chapter 39 of the Laws of 1874." The act was approved February 25, 1876. Included is a blueprint of the Miami County road system with proposed additions. Not organized.
