Certain records may still remain closed due to falling under KSA 45-221, the Open Records Act, or under other such statutes that generally or specifically affect the openness of public records. Scope and content: Records related to Governor Hayden's 1990 gubernatorial campaign, which he lost to Joan Finney. Includes information on targeted voter registration, case studies and reference material, voter surveys and results, notes, etc. Hayden's campaign worked with Presner-Sykes and Associates on voter polling. The series also includes election finance information, both actual accounting records and records kept regarding public disclosure of campaign finances.
