Scope and content: Records related to and providing a high-level overview of major operations and activities of the Menninger Foundation. Types of records include department and other kinds of reports, statistical information, memoranda and correspondence, meeting minutes, policy statements, procedures, manuals and handbooks, drafts and proposals, event planning and logistics, planning materials (both physical for grounds and buildings and intellectual for the future of the organization), budgets and financial records, news clippings, fund raising materials, promotional materials, grant applications, etc.

Series is mostly organized in two alphabetical runs, one much larger than the other. Topics include various departments at Menninger (e.g. Activity Therapy, CABS, Adult Psychiatry, After Care Services, Continuing Education, Community Service Office, C.F. Menninger Memorial Hospital, Development Services Office, Museum & Archives, Social Work, Research, Preventive Psychiatry, etc.), annual meetings, annual reports, Boards of Governors and of Trustees, various councils and committees (e.g. Central Management Committee, Clinical Council, Professional Service Organization, etc.), Fine Arts Society, psychiatric nursing, consultants, convocations and anniversaries, etc.
