Abstract: Consists of manuscripts (dissertations, monographs, articles, etc.) written by others--mostly from the Menninger Foundation or involved with the Foundation--and with which Dr. Coyne provided help; and grant applications, proposals, and research findings from various projects conducted through the Menninger Foundation's Research Department. Some broad topics and projects represented include the Psychotherapy Research Project (PRP), near death experiences, hospital residency training, the Topeka State Hospital follow-up project, child psychiatry, environmental psychology, community health, low-income ghetto, and other projects.

Biography

Biog. Sketch (Full): Lolafaye Coyne was born 10 December 1926 in Topeka, Kansas. She earned her degrees from Washburn University of Topeka, the University of Kansas in Lawrence, and Manhattan's Kansas State University. She began working at the Menninger Foundation in her early 20s in 1949, serving as director of the Statistical Laboratory and as assistant director for Hospital Research in C.F. Menninger Memorial Hospital.
