Scope and content: Agendas and meeting minutes, correspondence, notes, policies and procedures, reports and surveys, conference attendance materials, newsletters and brochures, maps, itineraries, reference and informational materials, scholarly articles, correspondence, trip diaries and logs, form letters, news clippings, small watercolor paintings, photographs, and other materials related to interests Cay Menninger held during various periods of her life.

Most of the material concerns her travels and work with People to People International. Other major topics include civil defense work Cay performed during World War II, particularly with the American Women's Voluntary Services (AWVS); her work with the American Red Cross, especially the local Midwestern Area and Shawnee County organizations; the Presbyterian Church, particularly the First Presbyterian Church in Topeka where Cay worshiped; and Cay's interests in art, particularly in painting water colors. Most of the materials in this series date from the late 1960s through the 1970s.
