Scope and content: Series is broken down into two sub-series, one of miscellaneous materials and one of correspondence. Topics and organizations in the first sub-series include the American Medical Writers Association, Jeanetta's curriculum vitae and biographical information, working with Virginia Eicholtz to put the Bulletin of the Menninger Clinic out as smoothly and regularly as possible, Jean's retirement from editing the BMC in 1970, Kansas Press Women, and other topics. The correspondence often includes personal contact with professional colleagues and may include thank yous for gifts and for hospitality, updates about personal and professional lives (on both Jeanetta's and her correspondents' parts), inquiries and requests for information, Menninger Foundation and the Bulletin of the Menninger Clinic, other publications/writing projects and publishing groups, and related topics.

Types of materials besides correspondence include certificates and awards, book reviews, press releases, newsletters, the professional journal from Mexico Cuadernos de Psicoalasis, etc. Correspondence is organized alphabetically by surname and then chronologically and may include such attachments as photographs, news clippings, newsletters, etc. Includes both incoming and copies of outgoing correspondence, handwritten and typed.
