Summary:
A collection of material regarding the Kansas Society for Crippled Children (now known as the Kansas Society for Children With Challenges), a non-profit organization established in Wichita in 1926 to improve the health, well-being, education, and rehabilitation of challenged children in Kansas.
Most of the material in this collection came from Albert Henry Gufler, an active worker in the field. The collection includes a few biennial reports, newsletters, meeting minutes, meeting notes, letters and correspondence, newspaper clippings and articles, and annual report and budget reports. Also included is a list of significant dates for the Kansas Society for Crippled Children. In addition, a proclamation from Gov. Payne Ratner to Albert H. Gufler, appointing him Member, State Crippled Children's Commission, ending 1945.
