Summary: Here are photographs showing sailors on the USS Vicksburg in Alaska during World War I. Joe Price, who graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1918-1919, served on the USS Vicksburg. After leaving the Navy, he worked at the Manhattan, Kansas Post Office and retired in 1957. After retiring from the Post Office, he worked for the Staghill Golf Course until 1963.
