Abstract: The collection consists of Henry Clair Corbett's diaries and some misc. materials, including receipts & some newspaper clippings among other materials. The diaries reflect Corbett's life including playing the piano in touring theatrical companies, traveling to California in 1908 playing piano along the way, opening Topeka Type Shop in 1920, retiring early, and buying a farm east of Topeka, Kan. They also discuss advertising, problems of aging, printers, and theatrical troupes.
