Scope and content: A letter on July 16, 1877, from Lee Crandall, encloses a circular which provides particulars regarding the exhibition of products from all the states and territories in the union put on by the National Immigration Bureau at the Machinery Hall, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The Exhibition was free of charge and displayed minerals, vegetables, products, manufactures, work of art, as well as other resources from all the states and territories. The objective of th exhibition was to encourage immigration in all the states and territories.
