Scope and content: A letter on October 25, 1876, from A. H. Ayres, states there is a requisition from the Governor of Illinois for the arrest of James Kane. J. H. Gilpatrick forwards a requisition from the Governor of Missouri for the arrest of James B. Heath. A letter on April 23, 1875, from Sherriff W. F. Osborne of Texas, asks if there is a reward for the arrest of Rush Randall, charged with murder in Kansas, and requests a description of the man. A letter on January 28, 1875, from Phil T. Pendelton, advises Governor Osborne a warrant was issued for the arrested of David P. Barker upon the request of the Governor of Texas. A letter on November 1, 1873, from Samuel H. Elbert, Governor of Colorado Territory, informs Governor Osborn that he will make requisition for Hugh Cowan, charged with grand larceny in the Colorado Territory.
