A discussion with "Sod & Stubble" director Ken Spurgeon. The program will be held at the Council Grove High School Auditorium, 129 Hockaday in Council Grove. The 2026 Kaw Mission Councils is a series of lectures and events focused on the rich history of westward expansion and how it affected Anglo, Hispanic, and Native Peoples. There is a $3 suggested donation.
