A couple blocks away from the current Shawnee Indian Mission Historic Site sits a small Methodist Cemetery that shares a sidewalk with the bustling Shawnee Mission Parkway. Site historians and volunteers will share the stories of those buried in this historic cemetery, from a slave owner and county namesake, to a woman who connected the Johnsons and the Wornall into Kansas City history. Step inside the cemetery and learn about those buried in the only cemetery in Fairway. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, $8 resident, $10 non-resident
