This month’s Museum After Hours program will feature the first special exhibit to open in the museum’s newly renovated gallery this November. Celebrating KANSAS! highlights the 80-year history of the KANSAS! magazine, published by Kansas Tourism. Andrea Etzel, publications manager & editor, will present a brief history of the magazine and how she developed content for the exhibit. Anne Dorcey, exhibits designer, will share information about the design and fabrication of the exhibit. Guests will have the opportunity for a sneak peek of the new special exhibit before it officially opens later this fall. Tickets for the behind-the- scenes tour can be purchased for $5 upon arrival. Tours will start at 5:40 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
