Russell - Kansas Archeology Training Program Field School programs - Deines Cultural Center
Enriching and strengthening the cultural life of the Russell area, the mission of the Deines Cultural Center is to develop and foster an understanding of, participation in, and appreciation for the visual and performing arts. Attendees can visit the Deines Cultural Center in Russell and enjoy its permanent collection including works by Ernest Hubert Deines, an iconic American printmaker, and Birger Sandzén, a renowned western landscape artist. Also on display at this time are a photography and printmaking show by Mike Alexanko and Shelly Beach. The Deines Cultural Center is located at 820 N. Main in Russell.
