Don Landoll

Born near Hanover in Washington County, Landoll demonstrated an early aptitude for building. By his freshman year in high school he was using a welder to make repairs on the family farm and helping neighbors.

At Hanover Implement and Manufacturing he continue to build his skills. With a partner, Jesse Moffit, he purchased Quick Service Welding Company in Marysville, which they operated for three years.

Landoll produced a Landoll Pickup Stock Rack, an innovative traveling axle trailer, and in 1969 he received his first patent. This product helped revolutionize the hauling industry. Landoll Corporation went on to develop and patent many agricultural, transportation, and material handling products for various industries across the nation and around the globe.

The company grew through acquisition, including the Bendi narrow aisle forklight product line from the United Kingdom, Drexel Industries from Pennsylvania, ICON Industries from Beloit, and Brillion Farm Equipment from Wisconsin. Now more than 800 employees work in multiple facilities covering more than 960,000 square feet. Landoll is developing an in-house weld training center offering technical training for those seeking employment in the manufacturing industry. He has served on many local, state, and national boards and associated with a focus on economic growth and enhancing the quality of life.
