Kevin Yoder

Kevin Yoder was born January 8, 1976 in Yoder, Kansas. He grew up on his family’s grain and livestock farm. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1999 with degrees in English and political science. He received a juris doctorate from the University of Kansas Law School in 2002. He worked as special assistant in the U.S. Department of Defense’s Office of Counternarcotics. He became a partner in an Olathe law firm in 2005. He was elected to the Kansas House of Representatives in 2002, where he served until 2010. In November 2010 he defeated Stephene Moore, Democrat, and Jasmin Talbert, Libertarian, to be elected to serve Kansas’ third congressional district where he served until 2019.
