Physical Description: Red, white, and blue quilt in Union Square pattern. This quilt was pieced by Eliza Hobart Austin, and given to Benjamin and Marietta Weaver on their wedding day, June 18, 1913. Ben and Marietta lived on the Eagle Canyon Ranch in Kiowa County, nine miles south of Mullinville, Kansas.

History of Object: According to notes in the accession file, this quilt was pieced by the donor?s great-grandmother, Eliza Hobart Austin, and given to the donor?s parents (Benjamin O. and Marietta Weaver) on their wedding day, June 18, 1913. Ben and Marietta lived on the Eagle Canyon Ranch in Kiowa County, nine miles south of Mullinville.
