History of Object: Presumed to have belonged to William H. Alexander (1886-1979), a blacksmith, and Emma Alexander (1878-1955), his wife, of Salina, Kansas. Census records and city directories indicate they lived all their adult lives in Salina. See Accession File and Other Notes field.
