Annie and Moses Grinter
(1820 - 1905) (1809 - 1878)
- Married about 1838 in Indian Territory (Kansas)
- She was Lenapi (Delaware) and they lived on Wyandot-Delaware Reservation land she received from government
- Operated trading post, ferry on the Kansas River, and first post office
- Began building house in 1857, now Grinter Place State Historic Site
