Brown v. Board of Education Mural
This mural depicts the 1954 landmark U.S. Supreme Court desegregation case, Brown v. Board of Education, that has roots in Topeka. The mural was created by Kansas City artist Michael Young to honor this important legacy.
The mural is located outside the state supreme court where earlier civil rights cases were fought, leading the way to the turning point in the history of the United States.
