Eric Sexton is a governmental affairs consultant and independent contractor to Foulston Siefkin's Governmental Affairs & Public Policy practice group in Wichita. He spent 18 years on Wichita State University's governmental relations team, most recently as executive director of governmental relations. He earned bachelor's and master's degree from Wichita State University and a doctoral degree in political science from the University of Kansas.
Sexton is active in his community, serving on the Wesley Medical Center Board of Trustees, the Derby Community Foundation, and was a founding member of Real Men, Real Heroes. President George W. Bush appointed him to the President's Commission for the National Museum of African American History and Culture in 2002.
Sexton was elected to the Kansas Historical Foundation Board of Directors in 2022.
