Born and raised in Goodland, Kansas, Gennifer Golden House is a dedicated advocate for her community and a leader in northwest Kansas. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas, School of Journalism, laying the foundation for a career centered on meaningful communication and impactful service.
As the leadership and donor support coordinator for the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, Gennifer empowers northwest Kansas through innovative fund development, donor engagement, and planned giving strategies. Her work supports the 26 counties served by the foundation, fostering transformative community growth.
Before her current role, Gennifer served as vice president of electronic banking and marketing at First National Bank in Goodland, where she oversaw electronic banking operations across eight branch locations. In addition to her professional achievements, she manages her family farms, Ad Astra per Aspera, LLC, and Golden Ventures, along with her personal interests in Sherman and Wallace counties.
A passionate and active volunteer, Gennifer serves on numerous boards and committees, championing the importance of local advocacy. She believes that the citizens of northwest Kansas must lead the charge in shaping the future of their region, exemplifying this commitment through her dedicated service and leadership.
House joined the board in 2005 serving for two years, then rejoined in 2017.
