Kansas Museum of History - Tours

Guided Tours– Explore the gallery with the one of our museum guides for an in-depth learning experience. Guided tours must be scheduled with at least two weeks prior notice. NOTE: Guided tours will become available February 1, 2026.

          Adults - $15

          Youths - $10

School Groups – Self-guided tours are available for school groups of all ages. Guided tours will become available beginning February 1, 2026. Standards-based tours are not currently available as staff work to update content based on the new gallery.

NOTE: For both guided and self-guided tours, school staff will receive one free admission for every ten students. Additional chaperones will have to pay admission.

          Self-Guided

          $4 per student; $9 extra adult chaperones

          Guided

          $6 per student; $11 extra adult chaperones

 

Rural School Days – Experience what school was like in the 1920s with our Rural School Days program! This tour is offered Tuesday through Friday. The one-hour program is available for first-sixth grade students. The four-hour program is only available for fourth and fifth graders.
