Peggy Hull
(1889 - 1967)
- Grew up in Marysville and Junction City, worked for Junction City Sentinel
- First woman war correspondent accredited by U.S. government
- First woman to serve on four battlefronts
- Wore army uniform, carried her own equipment, and slept on the ground
- Known for writing about soldiers’ personal stories during World War I
