Proposed Regulation Public Notice and Request for Public Input
The Kansas Historical Society intends to start the regulation approval process for a set of regulations concerning the Register of Historic Kansas Places (K.A.R. 118-6). The intent of the regulation set is to establish a formal evaluation process for nominations to the Register of Historic Kansas Places. The regulations will also address the official listing, removal, and notification process for such nominations. This set of regulations is authorized by K.S.A. 75-2721(a)(2). The draft regulations are available here. You are invited to submit public comments and input on this proposed rulemaking to kshs.register@ks.gov.
