Kansas Memory
Help provide Kansas history resources for students through the Kansas Historical Society’s online digital archives, Kansas Memory. The site launched in 2007 and now contains hundreds of thousands of primary sources: photographs, letters, maps, objects, and printed materials.
This rich resource offers students an opportunity to see real documents from the state’s history, like the state constitution, John Brown’s personal letters, and photographs of Carry Nation. The items contained online are but a fraction of the resources in the Historical Society’s collections.
Help further these efforts by funding the process of scanning, item description, and database entries. Your support could help a Kansas student find rare primary source documents for their research.
