William A. Kassebaum lives in Burdick. He grew up in Kansas; the son of Nancy Landon Kassebaum and the grandson of Governor Alfred M. Landon. He received a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in 1984. He received a juris doctorate from Kansas University in 1988.
He served in the Kansas House of Representatives in 2003 and 2004. He previously served as the Morris County counselor. He lives in Burdick and is an attorney and rancher.
He served as president of the Council Grove Area Foundation; secretary of KSCB, Inc., a radio broadcasting group in Liberal; and president of Landon Farms, Inc., in Morris County.
Kassebaum was first elected to the Kansas Historical Foundation Board of Directors in 2009. He was elected to the executive committee in 2011.
